I gave this to my sister for her son's baptism. Even though it is made by "The Grandparent Gift Co" there's no reason it can't be for a parent too!
The frame is nice and looks slightly weathered which is a nice touch. I only gave it four stars because the ink pad that came with it is silver and I think it might not show up very well on the white paper. Based on the picture, I thought it was black ink.
On the back of the frame there is a place to write in To, From, Baptism date, and handprint date. It would have been nice if there was a space on the front to write the child's name as well but I knew that going into it so I can't complain.
Over all, it was a hit with my sister and brother-in-law. I can't wait to see the finished product.

i ordered and sent this back three times each time i didnt get grandparent. the nice people at amazon couldnt explain what the problem was or why they couldnt get the order right. I ordered grandparent and was only sent parent

Product is a nice little picture frame. I do wish it would come with at least two pages of background in case the baby's hand curls or moves while placing the ink.
